About King Crab Legs Company

Learn about who we are and what we do.

Who We Are

King Crab Legs Company was founded by Julian Klenda, the owner of Maine Lobster Now. Julian was raised in the Maine seafood industry and has been packing and selling seafood for nearly 30 years. After decades of sustainably sourcing and selling the best Maine lobster, crabs, shellfish and Atlantic seafood that the Northeast has to offer, our nationwide customer base has been constantly asking for more Alaskan seafood options to bring to the table. King Crab Legs Company was created to meet this demand and give customers exactly what they want, a unique experience around king crab.

Julian and our team are utilizing our strong relationships to navigate the recent Alaskan shut down. We are leveraging our global network once we purchase our Alaskan quota to continue to provide all sizes and variety of king crab to you. Not only are we providing the same level of quality and service as Maine Lobster Now, we want to take it to the next level. When purchasing from King Crab Legs Company, our customers are able to help get nutrient-dense seafood into food banks. We are proud to endorse SeaShare as our non-profit recipient for these donations to help solve hunger on a local level.

To continue our efforts to deliver the best quality king crab, we will continue to source our crab from the Northern Pacific Oceans and Norway. We will work diligently with our international vendor network to responsibly source the best possible crab to deliver to our customers.

Why Partner With SeaShare?

SeaShare a nonprofit organization that partners with the seafood industry to provide nutritious seafood to food banks and hunger relief organizations across the United States. Founded in 1994, Seashare works with seafood processors, distributors, and fishermen to donate their excess seafood to those in need.

The organization's mission is to help alleviate hunger and malnutrition by providing a healthy protein source to those who may not have access to it. By working with the seafood industry, Seashare helps to reduce waste and improve sustainability by redirecting excess seafood to those who can benefit from it.

Seashare partners with a network of food banks and other hunger relief organizations to distribute the donated seafood. Since its founding, Seashare has distributed millions of pounds of seafood to those in need.

How do you know the promised donation is received by the non-profit? We use a third-party company, ShoppingGives, and they ensure that 100% of funds are sent to Seafood Industry Research Fund. Also you’ll get a confirmation email after checkout verifying the transaction.
